Privacy Policy

This page explains what information njozicamp.com collects, why, and who else handles it. Njozi Camp (“we”) runs this website. Questions about it go to info@njozicamp.com.

The inquiry form

When you send an inquiry we receive what you type into the form: your first and last name, email address, phone number (optional), travel dates, number of travelers and message. We also receive the address of the page you sent it from and the time it was sent.

We use this information only to answer your inquiry, including arranging a stay if you go ahead. We do not sell it.

Your inquiry travels over an encrypted connection to our website host, Cloudflare. Cloudflare Turnstile checks it is from a person (see below). It is then passed by Make, an automation service, to our email inbox and to an inquiry log kept by our website team. Make’s handling is covered by its privacy notice.

Cloudflare Turnstile (spam protection)

The inquiry form is protected by Cloudflare Turnstile, which checks that a form is being sent by a person rather than an automated program. Turnstile loads when the form comes into view or you start filling it in. It runs in the background, so you normally won’t see a puzzle.

To make that check, Turnstile processes technical signals from your browser: your IP address, TLS fingerprint, user-agent header, and the site the check runs on. Cloudflare processes these signals on our behalf to protect this website. It also uses them, as a data controller, to improve Turnstile’s bot detection. Cloudflare describes these signals as strictly necessary for detecting and blocking bots.

Full details are in Cloudflare’s Turnstile Privacy Addendum, which supplements the Cloudflare Privacy Policy. For questions or data protection requests about Turnstile on this site, contact us at info@njozicamp.com. You can also reach Cloudflare’s Data Protection Officer at dpo@cloudflare.com.

Hosting

Cloudflare hosts this website. As with any website, Cloudflare receives your IP address and basic browser information with each page request. It uses them to deliver the page and protect the site from attacks. See the Cloudflare Privacy Policy and Cookie Policy.

Visitor statistics

We count visits with Plausible Analytics, which doesn’t use cookies and doesn’t store IP addresses or build profiles of visitors. It gives us totals only, such as how many people viewed a page and which site referred them. See Plausible’s data policy.

Embedded content

YouTube. Our video doesn’t load until you press play. Before that, your browser fetches only the video’s preview image from YouTube. When you press play, the video loads from YouTube’s privacy-enhanced (youtube-nocookie.com) player, and Google’s Privacy Policy applies.

Tripadvisor. The rating badge on our home page loads from Tripadvisor, which receives your IP address and browser information when it loads. Tripadvisor’s Privacy and Cookies Statement applies.

Our fonts and photographs are served from this website itself, not from a third-party font or image service. Links to other websites take you to sites with their own privacy policies.

Cookies

This website doesn’t set cookies of its own or store anything in your browser. The services described above (Cloudflare, YouTube once you press play, and Tripadvisor) may use their own cookies, as explained in their policies.

Your choices

You can ask us what information we hold from your inquiry, or ask us to correct or delete it, by emailing info@njozicamp.com. If you are in the EU or UK, you may also complain to your local data protection authority.
